The Presidents Report
Our club meetings have become much more relaxed
and less business like, and many members have
responded that they are more enjoyable this way. I
suggested early last year that our members can make
the club into whatever they put forth, so we will
continue with this trend of having more fun and less
business at meetings. Our club does have business
going on, so rest assured that your elected club officers
are acting in the best interest of our membership. I
continue to be an advocate of making the clubs Board
Of Directors and other officers active in solving
problems and taking care of club business. They have
not fired me yet
, and if I can prove this will work, I
think more members will be interested in getting
involved in club officer positions. Having an active
group takes the burden off any one individual and
makes the club officer experience much more
enjoyable.
Once again four RLMAC officers attended the annual
Parks& Recreation Board meeting this month. I hate to
suggest that we wasted our time, but we all take off
work to attend these meetings. It was a very long
meeting, with the RLMAC proposal being very near the
end of the agenda. The disappointing part being that
the park board members were not able to make a final
decision about our south flying field proposal because
of some stipulation in how things were worded on the
meetings agenda. We were assured things are leaning
in our favor, and of a vote early on within the next
monthly board meeting. I can only say that Im glad this
is all playing out during the dead of winter, but still the
same its somewhat frustrating for those involved.
Politics as usual I suppose.

Minutes
Some members paid their 2005 dues before the
meeting was called to order, thank you!
Meeting called to order at 3:00 PM by the President.
Announcements
This is your last warning to renew your annual
membership dues by the end of January. Dues are
$25 for adults, $10 for juniors. If you fail to pay, you will
no longer receive this newsletter. Also our club bylaws
actually state that you will be charged a late-fee for re-
joining at a later date during this year. I believe you
may alternately appear before our board of directors to
plead guilty, and they may grant you some optional
punishment. Someone had mentioned about doing time
locked in the clubs lawnmower shed?
. Please rush
your payment directly to our club treasurer Joe Zamiski
at W3732 Hillcrest LN, Sarona WI 54870 (no credit
cards please)
Our next meeting will be held on Sunday afternoon Feb
6th (to avoid any conflict with our snow fly on Feb 12) at
3:00 PM in the Parks & Recreation building (old city
hall). This is across the street (to the north) from the RL
Library, street side door closest to the lake.
On the agenda: Joe Z. will be giving us our annual
financial report, followed by any officer or committee
reports, followed by any requests or concerns to the
board members, followed by show & tell, and general
socializing.
