some turbulent air. He is passing the reins with no
upsetting club issues in progress.
The purpose of the club is to provide a setting where
everyone can enjoy the hobby of RC aircraft. To me,
the operative word here is "enjoy". The guiding
principal I plan to use is that the activities the club is
involved with should be fun. If they're not, we're doing
something wrong.
The club business will include:
Filling two open positions for the club Board of
Directors. These were created by the recent
election. I intend to ask Rusty and Kevin to fill
these spots.
Provide structure and funds for a program to
increase interest in club activities. Leon has
proposed that we award points for participating
in club events and award prizes at the end of
the year for the highest participation.
Finalize plans for a flying event at Leon's in
conjunction with the February meeting.

Minutes
Meeting called to order. 9 members present.
Old Business:
Wayne Barta moved soccer goals from behind our
shed to the South so we can drive behind our shed.
Wayne worked on sealing hole in shed because mice
are in there. Kevin removed battery from clubs riding
lawn mower.
New Business:
John Moen and Darin Nichols counted the votes for
election of officers. The results are as follows. We
received 15 ballots. Membership stands at over 40
members.
Announcements
Next Meeting
The club meeting for January will be held the 14th, 2pm
at Wing Nut Acres (AKA Doug's place). Weather
permitting we'll do a bit of flying, have a demo on
cutting Styrofoam for wings, and take care of a bit of
club business.
Dues: Your annual club membership dues of $25
should be paid by the end of January 2006. Dues may
be sent directly to RLMAC PO Box 406 Rice Lake WI.

Indoor flying dates are January 5,12,19,26 7-10:00 pm.
Spectators are always welcome.
We have a new club website and club discussion forum
at www.rlmac.org. The forum is a great place to speak
out on club issues, see what’s going on with the hobby
in your area, or just hang out and discuss with your
fellow fliers.
RLMAC needs your radio frequency channels to list on
our club website and frequency use chart. Please email
your transmitter channel numbers to Jason or contact
any club officer with them.
The President’s Report
In the last President’s Report, Kevin suggested that you
would have a “new and exciting RLMAC President” by
this time. I believe I’ve got exactly half of that covered, I
am at least new.
