Meeting: The next meeting
will be held Saturday October 11th, 2003 At
7:00 p.m. in the library basement.
President’s Report: The fun fly held at Rusty and Leons was
exciting as we watched Doug Goldman take down another victim with his combat
planes. The weather didn’t cooperate but we flew anyway. The food was great,
Thanks guys. Now we see another summer’s end, with fall here and winter
approaching, it could mean only one thing…Start building your new airplanes for
next year. Feel free to bring your models or projects to our next meeting.
Minutes: 12 members were present. Minutes were
approved as read. Treasurer’s report read and documented. Dave Strohmeyer
donated 2 Pilot trainer airplanes to the club, and Don and Chuck said they
would finish building. They are to be used for pilot training by our pilot
trainers. Big thanks went to Kevin Kuehn for his on going efforts of
maintaining the field. Numerous members noted that at any given time the field
was in top shape. The annual club dinner was approved for Feb.21st
2004. Chuck and Joe are checking into prices etc… Club dues were brought up,
Should we raise them or not? Tabled till next meeting.
Discussion of doing a mall show was approved. Duane to check
into this. The 50/50 drawing goes to John Moen.
Events: Posted at field. Mall show sometime this winter.
