Meeting: The next meeting

President’s Report: Every airplane
has a date right? Right! Bored with routine flight, I decided I would fly my
easy sport under a highline out in the country. This was easier than expected,
so I did it again and again; I was having a ball. Of course not paying
attention to my distance or better yet my perception of depth, the next go
around cleared the high line and instantly disintegrated into the nearby woods.
Needless to say I was in shock, as my airplane was a total loss, and I became a
victim of stupidity. Literally…happy landings.
Minutes: 10 members were present. Minutes were read
and approved, Treasurers report
was stated and documented. A question of how many events we
should hold during the summer months was asked again
and the answer is 4. With 2 float and 2 fun flies.
Family dinner for club members was discussed, (see special note below). A
raffle will be held at our next meeting, The prize is
a donated Lou Andrews airplane. Joe Zamiski mentioned you could purchase
jackets, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and polo shirts. We have our own disk for
embroidering. A descision to table
discussion on dues was made until after the annual audit. Joe Z. was the winner
of the 50/50 drawing.
