 Meeting:       The next meeting will be held Saturday, February 15 at 7:00 P.M. in the Library basement. Topics will include Events for 2003. Special Funds and General Discussion. We will have time for show and tell, so bring your projects new or old.

 

PRESIDENTS REPORT:       You may have noticed we have a number of committees, (see Article3 Section 8 and Article 6 of our bylaws). Committees are formed to help the club organize, such as events, negotiating teams, finance etc… I will provide a list of all our current committees to all members. These will be people you can contact when questions arise for individual committee purposes. Remember to update your dues, (see Article 9 Section 4 of our bylaws). Also remember to update your AMA membership. Thank you and Happy Landings.

 

Minutes: 16 members were present and 1 guest, Doug Schoenke. Elections for (2) Board of Directors (non-officers) goes to Stan Gieseke, 11 votes, and Joe Zamiski, 11 votes.  While Darwin Avery, had 7 votes. A motion to have a parade committee was approved, and the members are Jack Douglas, Stan Gieseke, and Joe Zamiski. Also Gene Hines will be an alternate.   

Dave Strohmeyer has been appointed by the president for our event/committee chairman.  Jason Novak has volunteered to head up our new web site for the club.  The address is rlmac.cjb.net

You can contact Jason via email at jnovak@merlinsoftware.com .  Doug Zimmer will pay this year’s sanction fee of $15.00 for the fun fly, which will be held June 14th with a rain date of July 19th, 2003.  Our sixth annual float fly will held at Grampas Train Shop on August 17th, 2003.

Membership:  We currently have 50 members.
