MEETING:            The next meeting will be held on Sunday, June 9th at 5PM after the jet fly at the old airport. Bring your airplanes.

 

President’s Report: I would like to make a couple of corrections. 1. The family fun fly is scheduled for July 21st, NOT May 21st. 2. I apologize for scheduling our last meeting on mother’s day. I thank the members that showed up. On a happy note, I stopped out at the field and there were many of our members flying, it is good to see that the sport is active. A fellow member asked me to invite anyone with antique engines or planes to our next meting, if you have one bring one.

 

Minutes:  A motion was made and approved for Kirby Crawford to be an alternate in the Field Acquisition Committee. Ron Richlick finalized the deal on our new (slightly used) port-a-potty. The letter from Brooks Heathman concerning the old field was read. There was talk of safety rules. Chuck is making some progress on the new field. Suggestions were made for helping at upcoming events.

 

 

 

CLUB and AMA DUES: Also please remember to pay your AMA and club dues. If you have not done so, you cannot fly and will not receive your newsletter. You must have current AMA membership/insurance to fly at the club field or participate in any events. The club dues are still only fifteen dollars.

 

EVENTS: RLMAC Family Fun Fly July 21st, RLMAC JETS OVER ARROWHEAD JUNE 8/9, RLMAC FLOAT AND FLY AUGUST 18th. Wausau R/C Sportsman Club Combat Challenge June 8th, 38th Annual Fun Fly-In and Show Aug 17th, 8th Annual Swap and Auction Oct. 27th.
