MEETING:            The next meeting will be on Sunday, May 13th at 1:00PM sharp held at Chuck Dorey’s, which is our future flying site. See attached map and bring a chair to sit on.

 

President’s Report: Our last meeting was the best one yet, thank you for your cooperation. All members are encouraged to attend our next meeting as we will be recording every member name, AMA number, and address to fully update our records, and to see if all members are paid up to date by checking our club records and AMA records. We will be discussing what is in store for this summer, welcome all new members, and hear new information on the old field status. A special thanks goes out to Brooks Heathman of the field acquisition committee for his ongoing effort in this matter.

 

Minutes:  Shane Iorns was appointed to be our new secretary. Parades are still on the agenda. Stan Gieseke offered to donate a stainless steel grill to the club. There were many volunteers to help run concessions and set up at our upcoming events. Ron Richlick is still working on procuring a port-a-potty. May 21st was agreed upon for a family fun fly. The annual reading of the AMA safety code took place. Wayne Barta produced a generic safety code/rules for everyone to view and comment on. Progress is being made on the old flying site (see Brooks Heathman) and also on the new flying site (see Chuck Dorey).

 

CLUB SHIRTS AND JACKETS: If you have not paid for your club attire please contact Joe Zamiski at 715 354 3220 at your earliest convenience, or see Joe at the next meeting so you can pay for these items.

 

CLUB and AMA DUES: Also please remember to pay your AMA and club dues. If you have not done so, you cannot fly and will not receive your newsletter. You must have current AMA membership/insurance to fly at the club field or participate in any events.

 

EVENTS: RLMAC Family Fun Fly May 21st, RLMAC JETS OVER ARROWHEAD JUNE 8/9, RLMAC FLOAT AND FLY AUGUST 18th. Wausau R/C Sportsman Club Combat Challenge June 8th, 38th Annual Fun Fly-In and Show Aug 17th, 8th Annual Swap and Auction Oct. 27th.
